1. The information you provide

LOVORA collects the birth date, birth time, birth city, optional first name and relationship question answers that you choose to enter. To purchase a report, you provide an email address to the payment checkout. These details can be sensitive and should be shared only if you are comfortable doing so.

2. How we use your information

Birthplace suggestions use a bundled offline city directory and do not send search terms to an external geocoding service. Astrology calculations are requested from Prokerala. We process the returned traditional chart positions to prepare your reading. Dodo Payments handles hosted checkout and payment records; LOVORA does not ask you to enter payment card numbers into our pages. Resend is used for recovery emails if configured.

LOVORA uses data to deliver the requested experience, verify purchases, prevent abuse, support account-free report recovery and respond to support requests. Your birth details are not intentionally used for advertising or sold to marketers.

3. Storage and retention

Unpurchased birth details are stored in an encrypted, HttpOnly browser session with a maximum lifetime of 24 hours. For orders, an encrypted birth-data snapshot can be retained in server storage while the paid report is generated; that snapshot is erased from the order record on successful fulfillment. Purchase/order records and generated reports are configured to expire after approximately 365 days, unless deletion is requested earlier or applicable law requires longer retention of specified transaction records. Recovery email links expire after 15 minutes and are single use.

Paid reports and birth snapshots are encrypted before being stored in Upstash Redis. Delivery providers may process the information necessary to perform their services, under their own contractual terms.

4. Access and security

Paid readings require a verified order-linked secure browser session or a recovery link delivered to the purchase email. A refund or revoked order may invalidate access. No web-based service can promise absolute security. Do not forward recovery emails or share private report screenshots if you want to keep your reading private.

5. Your choices and requests

You can stop without purchasing, decline to give your optional name, or contact support to request correction or deletion of stored personal details where legally permitted. We may need to retain records required for payments, taxation, disputes or compliance. Contact the email address below with your receipt email and request; do not send card numbers, passwords or government ID unnecessarily.

6. Eligibility and updates

LOVORA is designed for ages 14+. Users aged 14–17 require guardian permission, and a purchase must be initiated by an adult. A self-declared checkbox alone does not satisfy requirements for verifiable parental consent; appropriate verification and legal review are required before publicly serving minors where applicable. This policy may be updated to reflect actual service changes, and the displayed revision date will be updated. Before live launch, the operating legal entity, email contact and service-provider arrangements must be reviewed for compliance.
